FAQ’s

  • The first session will allow us to explore your difficulties and consider what you're looking for within therapy. This is a non-obligation session where you can have a chance to see if you feel this is right for you. If you are happy to proceed, you can then book in a regular session slot.

  • The sessions will last for 50 minutes. On average individuals have one session per week on the same time and day. This can be discussed within the initial session. Serenus Therapy offers short and long-term counseling which can be provided face to face, via telephone and online.

  • Therapy sessions are open ended, therefore there is no limit to the amount of sessions. We ask that you consider what your availability is as sessions will be held at the same time and day each week to ensure consistency.

  • The sessions are £50 for 50 minutes for face to face reduced rates are £40 for 50 minuets for online and telephone sessions. There is no obligation to pay for a block of sessions however we do ask confirmation at the end of the sessions to book for the next ahead to secure the room and therapist availability.

  • Serenus Therapy is located in 2&6 Therapy rooms based in Wainbridge house, Shepherd Rd, Shepherd Rd, Gloucester, GL2 5EL.

  • You can book online or over the phone.

  • We have a 48hr cancellation policy. To cancel you must call or e-mail your therapist a least 48hrs before your session is due to start.

  • Payment is made via bank transfer. We ask payment is made at least 24hrs before your appointment. If payment is not made your appointment will be cancelled.

  • Therapy is a confidential and safe space to talk about anything however it is important to know that there are limits to confidentiality. Here are some general circumstances where confidentiality may be breached:

    -If the client is threatening serious bodily harm to themselves or others.

    - Intends to commit a crime or is involved in criminal activity.

    - If there is suspicion or knowledge of child abuse or neglect.

    - If ordered to do so by a court of law.
